In this episode of IDEAS, we speak with Livia Poljak. She is a doctoral student in the Languages, Cultures and Literacies program at Simon Fraser University. In times of the pandemic, for many scholars, restrictions on face-to-face meetings, and meet-ups has significantly impacted research progress. In this podcast, Livia shares her thoughts on pivoting one's research in the midst of a global pandemic. Livia is a 4th year PhD candidate in the languages, cultures and literacies program at the faculty of education at SFU. Her doctoral research focuses on French immersion identity and accent in high schools in British Columbia.
