IDEAS Episode 19 - Successful writing practices from an EAL perspective

In this episode of IDEAS, Dr. Aisha Ravindran shares her insights, experience, and advice on the writing process in the graduate process. She talks about the importance of centering voice, ideas, and bringing the author's ideas to the foreground. She shares her ideas and strategies on how to adapt writing to navigate efficiently within the research context and academy. As an Associate Professor of Teaching at the University of British Columbia, she teaches both undergraduate and graduate students in composition and rhetoric, world literatures, and communication from an EAL and international context. She is currently pursuing her second doctorate in the Department of Languages, Cultures, and Literacies at Simon Fraser University.
